The Whole Story - The Fall Guy - stories 1 and 2...

Time for a new Whole Story, and the only strip that got a vote a couple of weeks back is The Fall Guy, so we start here with the first two tales.  First shown on ITV in 1982, starring someone who was already an established figure in Look-in, Lee Majors who had great susccess as Steve Austin - The Six Million Dollar Man, also a Look-in strip.  In this series he played Colt Seavers a professional stuntman, who would subsidise his meagre living by doing a spot of bounty hunting in his spare time.  Meeting a prodegee stuntman called Howie Munson, and taking him under his wing, they would aid each other in bringing criminals to justice...The strip would appear shortly after appearing on TV, drawn by Jim Baikie..enjoy...

Another new year issue from Dan, this one is 1988 No.1, inside there is a feature and fantastic poster of the live action Masters of the Universe movie, American Football, huge on TV at that moment in time is featured in sports and the CAP is DJ David Jensen .....enjoy....

Another for 90s fans this week, a scan given to me that was gleaned from the internet, sent by Steve, I believe, so thanks to him.  It needed a bit of attention to some pages, but its all readable.  Kevin Costner is the double page poster and theres a mini fact file (CAP was defunct by this point), and other posters include David Hasselhoff, Creature Comforts and also Trev and Simon (swing your pants..!!).  Also here are Bill and Ted in strip form and Skiing in sports.....enjoy...

Here is the next off the 1984 conyeyor, it is 37, of course from Dan.  A He-Man cover is a clue to the fact that inside was a free gift of a wallchart and a set of Pacesetters stickers that you could build your own scene with, and other sets could be purchased at the time.  You can see them as well as the issue itself with the blog download.

Also inside a great Knight Rider feature, Bucks Fizz are in the centre with a fabulous pin-up, lacrosse is featured in sports and the CAP is the wonderful Alison Moyet.

Here is another one from 1984 courtesy of Dan, it's No.36.  Two of the A-Team are on the cover, Hannibal and B.A., both of them and the others are in a feature inside.  Also inside Spandau Ballet are in an extra feature/poster, speedway is covered in sports, and the CAP for this one is Queen....enjoy....

Back to 1984 we go with another from Dan's collection, this one is No.33, and it has the superstar that is Roland Rat on the cover, find a feature inside.  The Colour Centre is The Jacksons, find out what they were up to and get a double page poster.  Sports has boys golf in the spotlight and the CAP is those young at heart boys The Bluebells....enjoy....
