Bad news...

After putting a new hard drive in my computer, two weeks later it started doing similar things as before, and has now got to the point where I can't even reinstall Windows 7 back on it.  New motherboard looks likely, and I will endeavour to have this sorted as quickly as possible.  I am writing this via my nephews computer as he has gone on holiday for a fortnight, to let you know, I will do bits and pieces now and then, Dan's issues come pretty much good to go and I have access to a fully scanned 1971 and 1972, so we'll see how it goes, don't necessarily expect weekly updates though.

Just keep your update registration active, and if you haven't, now's a good time to make one.
I'll keep you posted,

John.

The On the Ball Scrapbook - part 27...

Here we have the final part of the scrapbook taking us to the final issue before the new format arrived, there is a Sports Arena from 1980 from an issue I've just purchased, (Get the strips on Saturday), Then a final few Sports Spotlight's.  Toward the end of the run, Look-in took on new figurehead Sharron Davies and when the new Look-in emerged Sport's Spotlight was retained, with Brian Jacks assisting Sharron as a male figurehead, sadly Sheridon's drawings were dropped though.

We go out with a bang with features on Badminton, Archery, Water Sports, Speedway...oh...and Angling!

Enjoy...
