The Whole Story - Buck Rogers in the 25th Century - stories 1 & 2...

It's mid month and it's time to start another series, this time it is, as requested, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.  It is the story of William 'Buck' Rogers (Gil Gerrard) on a deep space voyage onboard Ranger 3  Mid way through the voyage Buck hits some sort of space anomaly which causes Bucks's life support to send him into suspended animation, he is also sent spiraling 500 years into the future.  He arrives on Earth after the holocaust, and communities are set up away from the radiaton, one comunity is New Chicago, where he meet Dr. Huer (Tim O'Connor) leader of the community and Col Wilma Deering (Erin Gray) in charge of New Chicago's defence.  He is assigned Tiwki (Felix Silla -  Voiced by Mel Blanc)  a small droid who is his guide in the new world in which he finds himself.  He found his way into Look-in in 1980, drawn by Martin Asbury, still in black and white following from Battlestar Galactica the previous week, it changed to colour quickly and continued into the new look magazine in 1981 drawn by John M. Burns, Arthur Ranson did take up the pen for a memorable story too.  Here now is the whole story for you to read month by month...
