the best looking scan, if anyone can help me with
a better scan please e-mail me.)

Mike Noble interview...

Thanks to a heads up from Lew Stringer's brilliant Blimey! comic site, I have just seen this interview of Mike Noble on YouTube.  It's only 12:12 long, but is still very much worth a look, it shows drawings Mike did of him and his family when he was young, and shows what an incredibly gifted artist he was even at an early age.

RIP Lewis Collins...

So sad to hear today of the death of Lewis Collins, who became famous as
William Bodie, one half of 'The Professionals'. Thoughts go out to his family.

Here is a cleaned up version of the first issue of Look-in's main rival 'TV TOPS',
which coincidentally contains a strip of 'The Professionals', so it sadly seemed
apt to upload it today.

Thanks to mag@zone for the issue (permission given).

Mag@zone...

Got an e-mail today from a guy called Mark Perkins, who has recently started a site called 'Mag@zone', it has full issues of classic magazines, there are four issues of Look-in, and an issue of Look-in's rival TV TOPS, along with other pop and teen mags of the time.  It's shaping up to be a great site, and well worth a visit.

At last...reboot No.20

here at last is the final full Issue, except...it isn't strictly full.  It is the very last Look-in from 1994, and is the only one I have from that year for now.  The missing pages are posters, so every readable page is there.

Next we start on the strip only issues that are already available, so we will go through them and super-size them too, but for now enjoy the remaining full issue, No.10 from 1994...

12th March 1994 - No.10

Cover: Mark Owen.

Strips: Chuck Rock, Scooby-Doo
and Garfield.

Tuesday, 10 September 2013

Reboot No.19...

Here is the penultimate reboot full issue, this is from 1993, and it's No.20.  Does anyone know where 'Mac' and 'Justin Gibbs' came from?, I do not remember these two strips as TV series or games, and can find nothing on the internet about them.  So I am wondering were these just original strips?...

'Chuck Rock' was based on a successful computer game of the period, in case you were wondering.

enjoy...

22nd May 1993 - No.20

Cover: Take That and Mr. Blobby.

Strips: Mac, Scooby Doo, Chuck Rock,
Justin Gibbs and His Massive Fibs and
Garfield.

Friday, 6 September 2013

Reboot No.18...

We skip to 1992 now, the 1991 issue was originally a large issue anyway, so does not need a reboot.  You can still get it here...

9th March 1991 - No.10

So here now is 1992 - No.13, with the free door hanger, so you need
never be disturbed again...!!!...

Reboot No.14...

Another reboot issue, this one is a large file at just over 147mb, so be patient.  The reason for this, is that there are four pages that are strips meant to be read across two pages, but I have altered them to make them easily readable with CDisplay. I have also put them at the end in their original form, hence the extra mb.
