December Update...
Here is the new update for December...as usual click covers to download. Note that the first issue - No.43 from 1972 is in a new huge form, I've had feedback from some people in the Yahoo 'Scanarama' group saying my scans were too small, so I have left the scans in their original scan size (nearly 2500 pixels in width!), CDisplay resizes them automatically for reading, and you can really see the difference. there is of course a longer download time so be patient. The second issue I had in my backlog so is a smaller size.
Enjoy them both...

Coming Soon 2 - Space:1999...
Hi All,
Got a new issue in the post today, from 6/9/75. and although the issue is available to read, as it one of the issues from the old 'Look-in Archive' site, get it here - 75No37, one page that isn't available...until now...and the reason I wanted it badly...is the back page which has the exciting news of the Space:1999 strip starting in the next issue, with an amazing full page photo from the series.
So as part of my 'Coming Soon' series...ta,dah!!! Here it is. You can get a large scan by clicking the picture.

In Look-in next week...1
I said i'd do ocasional features on the blog, so here's something for you all to see. I thought it would be great to see some of those teasers from issues of Look-in where there was a new strip starting in the next issue. So i'm going to start with Dick Turpin, which was one of my favourites and this is how they bigged him up for the next issue...
24th March 1979 - No.13
You can also click the picture to get a download of the page in a larger format.
I also used to get excited when there was a big feature about a series, as it usually meant that the series got a strip shortly after that, but if something I liked was confirmed, I couldn't wait to get my hands on that first installment!

Bonus for Pil Head...
You may have seen the post about Andy Davidson, who is compling a new book on the Tomorrow People. I supplied Andy with scans of TP strips from issues that hadn't been uploaded yet. Pil Head mailed me to express gratitude for the uploaded issue 1976 - No28, and mentioned that he was particularly trying to collect the TP strips, so here for him, and anyone else who would like them, are the files I uploaded to MediaFire for Andy. You now should have every TP strip that I own, and of course the issues these are from will be uploaded as and when.

MediaFire Links
A guy over at Scanarama called Norman has informed me that the MediaFire links aren't sending people where they should, and sure enough when I ran the blog in Firefox, it wasn't letting me in to them. I have realised that just having the directories unlocked is not enough, you have to click the options, and then 'Share' and it then gives you a proper link!
I cannot find a way to link the project as a whole, but I can do individual years.
These links should work....
71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79
I'll do more soon.

New Tomorrow People Book
I've been in contact with a guy called Andy Davidson, who is in the process of putting together a new book on The Tomorrow People. He said he has gleaned a lot of information on the Look-in side of things from the Look-out site. I have also sent more scans to bring him up to date with the TP strips I have.
Although there is no firm publishing date yet, the book is going to focus on the series mainly, but will include some stuff about the TP strip and features that appeared in Look-in, There will definitely be a strip chronology, and hopefully one or two strips will appear in complete form, but I can't be sure about this, but they must want the scans for something?!
Of course if I get more information about the book I will let you know, and hopefully a lot of Look-in fans as well as TP fans will think the book worth getting hold of.

1973
My ten 1973 issues turned up, so lots of good reading to be had over the next week or so! 9 of the 10 had no middle pages, but this is a common problem with lower priced issues, but all the strips are ok! I have updated the 73 checklist and you can see it above.

Hi,
1974 is now up to date on the MediaFire Project Slow but sure, i'm getting there. I made Simpler looking checklists, and below there is the one for 1974, I will republish them as they are updated.
1973 will get 10 new additions in a few days courtesy of a very nice deal on eBay! 1973 are amongst the most expensive issues when they appear on eBay, so I was pleased to spot a very nice deal on 10 issues, just under £10 including the postage! Keep scanning eBay for those issues, there are bargains to be had!
If you can help with any of the green spot on my checklists, and fancy a bit of scanning, e-mail me.

1972 and 1973 posted
Hi folks,
Years 72 and 73 are now up to date with issues that were on Look-out, so you can go there to download any you want. I have dispensed with the checklists, Blogger seems to have trouble with the larger image anyway. I'll do something smaller with just numbers at a later date.
To let you know the site has actually come back after being down for quite a few days, you can get to it at:
http://johnslookout.150m.com/
but it is still giving problems and lots of links are duff, so till I can get to grips with a more modern web design software, it just the blog i'm afraid. I'm playing with Serif WebPlus at the moment, and i'm quite liking it so watch this space...
There's also the wiki at:
http://look-in.wikia.com/wiki/Look-in_Wiki
Though I haven't done anything to that for a bit.
As well as getting these older issues posted, I have been scanning too and there will be two new issues on 1st of every month.
Go get those issues...
72 and 73
