1972 No.3 (in full) and 1976 No.29 (Strips)...

We take a break from 1980 to go back to 1976 and an issue I bought recently, if you're eagle eyed you may spot that Cliff has had some plastic surgery, the issue I bought was badly graffiti-ed on both of Cliff's faces, so I repaired it with a scan from the internet, so the detail on the faces is not as sharp.  You can also have the next 1972 issue, No.3 which is a full issue...

1972 No.2 and 1980 No.2 (full issues)....

Here are this weeks two issues, from 1972 it's No.2 and the same issue from 8 years later in 1980, the 1980 issue also has a scan of the free gift given away that week - The Bubble Yum bubble measurer,  which would have been great fun but for the fact that they printed it on very thin card (almost paper actually) and so it was very tricky to hold in place.  You can still get Bubble Yum on eBay here if you are inclined to use it, if not it's still a nice blast from the past to own for posterity, thanks to Dan for the issue and the gift....

Martin Landau 1928 - 2017.......1972 No.1 and 1980 No.1 in full...

It was with great sadness that I woke to the news that actor Martin Landau had died, He was big part of my childhood first as Rollin' Hand in Mission: Impossible, then as Commander John Koenig in Space: 1999 which of course became part of Look-in's story when it joined as a strip in 1975, drawn first by John M. Burns and then by Mike Noble.  Of course he had a long a distinguished career and played a lot of other parts but these are the parts for which he is best remembered, my condolences to his family and Barbara (Bain).  RIP.

We step into 1972 for the first issue and then we take a step back in the 1980's collection for No.1 of that year. Dan has sent me the missing Star Trek poster/feature, so I am able to up that issue, he has also sent me a complete No.2 along with the free gift, the Bubble Yum Bubble Measurer no less!  You can have that issue and the gift on next weekends update...
