Reboot...1993 No.20 and 1994 No.10...

We made it!!...here are the final two reboots, and a double dose of Mark Owen, as he appears on both covers.
In the first one, No.20 from 1993, three new strips have appeared 'Mac' and 'Justin Gibbs and his Massive Fibs', neither of which i'm sure are based on TV series, anyone out there heard of them?, also 'Chuck Rock' based on the computer game some people may remember.  This one is mine and complete.
And finally to No.10 from 1994, the full issue that isn't actually a full issue, the double sided poster in the centre has been removed, but every 'readable' page is there.  This is from my collection too.  That is where the Look-in story ended, a mere shadow of it's 70's incarnation, but we can't stop progress can we?

The checklist is now complete and you can now access every page from HERE.

What's the the game plan now? well, it's been a hard slog doing this reboot, especially the parts where there was constant scanning, and i'm not too keen to go back to that sort of workload, so what i'm going to do, is do 2 new issues every weekend, that gives me the full week to scan and prepare them. 'The Whole Story' will stick around and there will be a new addition to that mid-month, but no end of month update now as you will be getting new issues most weekends as time allows, this will please some people as they have been wondering when the reboot will end!  Obviously this will only continue as issues allow, after that, I may reboot the issues that I have in full, about half my collection is good for that, then....who knows?

If anybody can help me out with missing issues, or pages message me.

See you next weekend for the first two fresh issues.

Reboot...1989 No.18 and 1990 No.26...

1989 and Look-in had truly descended into kiddie land, with not a single action strip to be seen now, comedy and cartoons were the order of the day, surprising, as they were trying to appeal to the teenage pop market too.
No.18 is mine and complete.
By the time we get to 1990 the strips were sparse, just three in this whole issue, Look-in was fast becoming just a teen magazine with more focus on the music and entertainment side of things.  As colour printing had obviously become cheaper the whole magazine was in colour too.
No.26 is mine and complete too.

Cover: Sonia and Big Fun.

Strips: Galaxy High School, Garfield (Jim Davis) and Scooby Doo.

Reboot...1988 No.27 and No.41...

1988 and just two issues here, the full issue is No.27.  The strip mix should read across two pages but I had the ingenious idea (well I thought it was!) to cut and paste the strips so they could be read within CDisplay, but you can get the untouched version later on in the file. This one is mine and complete.
The other one is No.41, DM returns and we complete the trilogy of 'intelligent' vehicles with the flying version, non other than Airwolf, still never hit the spot for me like Knight Rider did and still the best of the three.  This one I got off the internet, I think it was from the Mag-A-Zone gang so thanks to them.

2nd July 1988 - No.27

Timeslip Complete...

A big thank you to Dan who has managed to get me page 2 of Timeslip for issue 36 from 1972. This now gives me the full run of Timeslip.  Timeslip is the strip that I had to buy Look-in to see, without it I probably wouldn't have become a regular reader and the site and blog would not have happened.  This also means I can do Timeslip in the whole story soon. Thanks for that one Dan.

Here is the link to the  issue including the complete Timeslip strip...
