Alexandra Bastedo 1946 -2014...

Just a few weeks after Lewis Collins, another icon of Classic British TV has passed away, Alexandra Bastedo, she of 'The Champions', which was still airing less than 2 years before Look-in began.  If only Look-in had begun 2 or 3 years earlier!  The comic 'Joe 90: Top Secret' ran a passable strip, but we can only imagine what it would have been like if Mike Noble had got his hands on it.

The Champions is perhaps my favourite series of all time, and I have a particular soft spot for the sixties ITC stuff, I was on the young side when it aired, but even at 8 years old I could see Alexandra was a very beautiful woman, and i'm sure she raised the pulses of a lot of boys older than me!  We now know how beautiful she was inside too, and her animal sanctuary in West Sussex stands as a testament to that, may it go on from strength to strength.

Sympathy to Alexandra's family. RIP.

New for 2014...The Look-Out Blog checklist...

I've been working on something to make it easier for you to search for issues,
It's a new checklist that includes links to the issues online. It is hidden in the
Look-Out site, the address is:

http://johnslookout.150m.com/main.html

add it to your bookmarks, but don't worry if you lose it, I've put a link to the
checklist on the home page of 'John's Look-Out' here:

http://johnslookout.150m.com/

Only the 1971 link works at the moment, click it to go to the 1971 page, which
will give you a gallery with pictures of all the 1971 issues uploaded so far, click

the picture of the issue you want to be taken to, and the download page for that
issue will appear. Clicking the title bar on any page will take you back to the main
checklist page.

I will be uploading the other years pretty soon, so keep visiting for updates.  I

used to like seeing the issues build on the site and getting a visual representation,
so I hope this excites you as much as it excites me, I look forward to seeing a full
checklist...one day!  Any help anyone out there can give me to get there sooner
will be gratefully accepted and appreciated.

John.

Reboot - 1971/No's 17 and 50

Looking through the issues on the 'Look Out' checklist, the only issues from 1971 that need rebooting, of the original lot are these two,  No's 17 and 50, I never had an original No.17, I acquired a scan, so i'm using Pete's better scan, and as for No.50 i'm using Pete's again to save me a scanning job!

You can check the list HERE, i'm pretty sure everything present and correct now,

Enjoy...
