1978 No.30 and 1980 No.42...

The archive keeps rolling along nicely and here are this weeks additions.  We have No.30 from 1978 and Enid Blyton's Famous Five have joined Look-in, it is of course, another of Mike Noble's fabulous works.  I felt this was a missed opportunity, because they just adapted the books into strip form, some of which were being shown on TV in the series, when Angus could have wrote some new adventures but the artwork always made it very readable. Also No.42 from 1980, both mine and complete...

Look-in One Pagers - Set 12...

1973 is now dealt with, nearly all football posters, there are 6 in total in this set, along with dodgy haircuts.  There are a lot of football posters in proceeding years as On the Ball starts early in 74, for this reason, I'm going to stop the football posters for now, it is my intention when One Pagers dries up to start a collection of On the Ball and include the features, which have some excellent artwork by Sheridon Davies, so that's something for you to look forward to. also from the classic era we have The Rubettes.  From Collect-a-Page we have Jacko and the great Barry Sheene amongst others.

Starcruiser Pt.1...

It's been brought to my attention by Duncan, that there is a strip missing from our collection, that being Starcruiser, which was an addition to 'The Worlds of Gerry Anderson' feature but also continued for a bit after the feature finished.  The strips idea was intended for a TV series that was rebuked, so Gerry sold the idea to Look-in for a strip.  The strip was more of a science feature as David Starr and Venus Brown patrolled the solar system, they picked up interesting facts about it and these were shown in the strip which ran between 77 and 78. I intend to upload the Starcruiser strip, or as much as I have of it and here today are the first 10 strips.  Some of the strips are from the 'Space:1999 file' and are of varying quality...
